Commercial Vinyl School
This class will cover all of the Armstrong commercial vinyl installations systems. It is design for an installer who is new to commercial installations or someone who would like a refresher course. Pattern scribing, straight scribing, flash cove and heat welding will all be completed by each installer over the three days. Each installer will complete the same projects that they would have to be proficient at to later become Armstrong commercial vinyl certified. | 3 Days | $299 |
Laminate School
This class will cover installation and repair procedures, as well as product knowledge, for all 4 laminates that Ohio Valley carries Armstrong, Bruce, Quick-Step and Wilsonart. All of these products are different enough that we felt a real need for this type of training. Floor covering experience or even carpentry skills would be a plus for this class. | 2 Days | $199 |
Metroflor Vinyl School
This class is offered as a one-day installation school, or an optional third day for the Residential Vinyl School. Installation of vinyl plank, vinyl tile with grout and Konecto will all be part of this training. We will also cover repairs in all as well. | 1 Day | $99 |
Pre-Finished Wood School
This hands-on class covers all of the basics of pre-finished wood installations. Product knowledge as well as all of the procedures for nail down, glue down and floating wood floor installations. Jobsite conditions, floor prep and repair for all is also included. | 2 Days | $199 |
Residential Vinyl School
This class is designed for an installer who is new to vinyl floor covering installations. We will begin with product knowledge so installers can better understand each installation system. Sub floor preparations, cutting and fitting techniques and proper seaming, as well as how each product is adhered to the floor will also be covered. Some products are fully adhered while others are perimeter bonded and modified loose lay. Everyone will have the opportunity to install and repair all of these products during the two days. | 2 Days | $199 |
